Sprayed over a bright red pearl or basecoat silver this stunning candy apple red is ideal for motorbikes. custom work or airbrushing. Depending on the number of coats applied and the colour basecoat used will change the effect of this candy. making it lighter or darker.

Just pour and go !!.

If this is your first time using CANDIES / Candy /Kandies.a quick guide:-

Candies are tinted with transparent paint. they need to be applied in thin coats with 15 minutes in between coats.

The amount of coats is dependent on the effect you wish to achieve. the more coats you apply the deeper colour will appear. the approximate amount of coats is between 5-7 coats but more can be applied if desired.

The effect is best when applied over a silver ground coat but it can be applied over any colour but the effect/colour will be dependent on the ground coat.

We give a rough guide of quantities

A mini in neat candy we would suggest 4-5 litres. in ready for use (pre-thinned) you would need approx8-10 litres

Unfortunately, candies do use a lot more material than most people think due to their transparent nature. but this is the nature of this paint to give the “candy apple” effect.
